Hi, it’s Tom Heath with the Heath Team at Nova Home Loans. This is our weekly update on Mortgage and Real Estate Related Matters. And this week’s topic is a New Home Program that Nova rolled out very recently to help individuals purchasing a new construction home.
If you work in that arena, you know that oftentimes the builders have their own in-house lenders and encourage their home buyers to use that lender. Sometimes they offer incentives, which seem very attractive, but when you look at at the overall cost of the loan, may not be as beneficial to the consumer as first appears.
Nova, with their new program, is able to compete in that field, so you have the opportunity to make sure that your clients are getting the best options on their home loans. If they’re in new construction, even if they have an incentive from the builder, you might want to send them our way so we can take a double check and make sure that they are in the best situation.
