Good morning. Tom Heath with the Heath Team at Nova Home Loans. Today is September 14th. And this is our weekly installment of mortgage and real estate matters.
And today. I wanted to share with you a little bit of good news. As we round out 2020 and head into 2021, there’s a lot of speculation about the economy, home prices, interest rates what’s going to happen with all of those; and clearly we don’t know that for certain. But here in Tucson, we received a little bit of good news last week when I was in a meeting with city and county officials regarding the post COVID-19 recovery.
We were specifically talking about downtown, but in general the the sentiment was the same that the outlook is bright for Tucson. One of the big reasons for that is the Google search for people looking to relocate is hitting on Tucson more than anywhere else. So we are number one in searches of people looking to get out of where they are and look for some place new to be. I think that impacts individuals, companies, and others so it does appear that for the near future we’re going to have a strong interest in Tucson and Tucson at real estate.
