And today’s topic is great news for our veterans, you may remember in the month of May that NOVA had waived their lender fees on all VA Loans as a special, thank you to our veteran population. Well, that change was received so well by our clients and by our referral partners that management has decided to make that a permanent change.
So going forward on our VA loans, NOVA will not be charging lender fees. Now they’re still are cost for third-party fees, there is a VA funding fee potentially, so we definitely want to make sure we’re educating our veterans on what they may have to pay at closing. Now this is great news and saves veterans almost $1,200 on their transactions. So I highly recommend you use this as an opportunity to reach out to your veteran clients and let them know that this is a great opportunity for them to look into.
