Downtown Tucson is a fun place to work, play and live, but it wasn’t always like that. Growing up in an area with shuttered store fronts and blighted lots might not be the best environment. But family is family and go where they go. Our feature today is with Lena Quach a 7th generation Tucson who grew up in Armory Park. Her story is even more compelling because she moved to New York just before the big urban transformation took place. After 5 years away she’ back to a whole new experience. We had a chance to speak with her earlier this week to get her before and after perspective and talk about her true passion, that which called her to New York, the theater.
