Four years ago we needed to add a Spanish speaking loan officer to the team, if we truly wanted to serve our community. We started a search for an experienced person who could jump right in. We were pleasantly surprised to find the perfect candidate already in our office. Luisana was working in our processing department and wanted to transition to the origination side of the business. So, both the Heath Team and Luisana were looking for something and it was right in front of them.
Being an effective loan officer is about listening, communicating and guiding. Luisana has made it her personal goal to ensure each of her clients fully understands their options and confidently choose the one which works best for them. She meets with the majority of her homebuyers in person because she says it gives her a better understanding of their needs and it helps them understand the process more thoroughly. There’s something powerful about looking into someone’s eyes, which you just don’t get by phone or email.
In a short time, she’s proven herself as knowledgeable and compassionate professional. She recently joined the Young Professionals Network with in the Tucson Association of REALTORS® and just launched her own 3-part series to help new professionals achieve success within the industry.
She can put herself in the shoes of her clients and see the process from their perspective. As a single mom, she understands the value of time and importance of efficiency. You will get all the attention you need from Luisana, but she won’t take more of your time than needed to get the job done. “Treat others as you would like to be treated” is something you will often hear her say.
