About Us

Tom Heath has over 10 years of experience in mortgage lending. After owning his own brokerage for 5 years, he decided to merge with another company and The Heath Team was created.

The Heath Team is a great way to access information regarding real estate, lending, & community events in Southern Arizona.

Tom is the President of the Southern Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association and currently serves as the Chairman for the state’s Legislative Committee. In his current role, he actively fights for legislation at a national and state level that is favorable to the industry and the consumer.

The core of Tom’s belief for industry regulation and legislation is based on his certainty that consumers will only be protected once we have armed them with the tools they need to make the right financial decision. He not only believes this, he practices it. Tom joined the Literacy for Life Coalition as the coordinator for financial literacy and works with industry groups, community groups, and education providers with the stated purpose of improving financial education and stability.

Tom has been invited to speak for Real Estate, Mortgage and community events; he is a nationally published writer for industry magazines; was a guest columnist in the Tucson Citizen; and publishes a weekly newsletter for about 250 subscribers.
